The #10 Natural TowelTM is 100% cotton and is the key to the Teri-Towel® Method. It is soft, thick and super-absorbent. "It's The Towel!"TM that removes everyday traffic soil, spots, spills, pet accidents and contaminates from the carpet. "It's The Towel!"TM that helps clean and dry the carpet. After the soiled carpet is dampened with #123 Cleaning Solution, it is scrubbed with our #10 Natural TowelTM. Approximately 18 towels per hour are used to clean residential carpets and about 12 towels per hour are used for commerical carpets. Residential carpets require the use of more towels since they have more face yarns and hold and hide more soil. The used towel "tells" the technician what to do: flip the towel change the towel respray and reclean the carpet or selected areas of the carpet that are still dirty when the used towel is clean and dry, the carpet is clean and virually dry How does the technician know what to do? if the towel is dirty, but the moisture has not penetrated to the other side, the technician can flip it and continue to clean if the moisture has come all the way through the towel, it is time to change the towel before continuing the cleaning process if the towel is dry but dirty and the carpet remains visibly soiled (perhaps only in some areas), the technician needs to respray and reclean those areas that are still soiled if the towel is dry and relatively clean and the carpet looks clean, then the area is done Below are examples of towels used in actual cleanings:
	This is a new towel. A towel should last for about 100 cleanings and washings.   This is a freshly laundered towel. Washing a towel makes it even more absorbent.     This towel was used to clean an extremely contamined and unhealthy carpet. The towel is very malodorous and full of food particles, bacteria and grime.   This towel was used to clean the carpet at a local health club which serves health-conscious people.   This towel was used to clean a very dirty carpet that was extremely contaminated with carpet cleaning chemicals. The towel absorbed so many chemicals that it now has a silver cast. This towel was used to clean the carpet of a home that is cleaned once a year using the Teri-Towel® Method. Teri-Towel® Systems Co. recommends carpet cleaning once a year and twice a year when pets are present.

As part of the Teri-Towel® Method, the dirty towels are either placed in towel containers with lids or put in plastic bags and sealed. 14 to 18 towels can be washed with the following formula: 1 full scoop each (in the clear scoop provided) of #1 Oxidizer, #2 Detergent and #3 Enzyme. Laundering the towels removes all the soil and dirt. Once washed and dried, the towels are ready for reuse.
